Organized by The Latin Mass Society of Beaumont, the Annual Lenten Pilgrimage’s other sponsors include TFP of Louisiana; Knights of Columbus Council 3406 of St. Henry Catholic Church, Bridge City; Hotard Coaches, Inc., Port Arthur; Faye Dismukes, Photographer/Graphic Designer; and DJ Richard Suarez, Audio Sound.

 

John Morrell serves as LMS Chairman of the Board/President and Joe Tolin as Secretary.  The Internal Revenue Service has ruled that contributions to The Latin Mass Society are deductible as charitable contributions defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  The state of Texas has exempted LMS of Beaumont from sales tax. 

 

Under the LMS umbrella and backed by dozens of volunteers located in a number of dioceses from Texas and Louisiana, the Steering Committee of twelve plans and operates the Annual Lenten Pilgrimage in Southeast Texas, thus far specifically in Port Arthur.
